Mélopée analogique, baignée de synthétiseurs, de guitares chorussées avec une voix lennonienne passée au Leslie, « plenty » est un voyage qui redéfinit l’abondance immatérielle. Inspiré par la simplicité de la vie en cabane et la re-connexion à la nature, il mêle des ondes éthérées et introspectives. Il interroge notre peur de l’inconnu tout en célébrant les « petites perles » de la vie : la nature, l’air, les étoiles. Pour les amoureuses et amoureux de Hether, Kruangbin ou de Paul Mc Cartney.
Après une retraite silencieuse de 3 ans à embrasser des arbres séculaires, vivant dans une yourte puis un bungallow avec comme toile de fond les Pyrénées ariégeoises, le bricoleur genevois Julien Zumkehr aka Concrete Jane émerge de la forêt avec un nouvel horizon sonore. Faisant suite à l’épure folk DIY de l’EP « Sole Mio » (2021), l’album « Organic » paraîtra fin 2026 et fêtera les dix ans du projet. Composé en pleine sylve, ce disque est un carnet de bord sensoriel, un voyage tissé d’ondes éthérées et de retour à soi. Il explore la re-connexion au vivant à travers des titres aux textures organiques et redéfinit nos richesses: de l’abondance immaterielle de « plenty », aux nuances de nos zones d’ombre et de la dualité « bipolar », en passant par la douceur iodée de l’amour « august 3rd », « iode » et le souffle coupé du « burn out ».

After a three-year silent retreat spent embracing ancient trees, living first in a yurt and then a bungalow against the backdrop of the Ariège Pyrenees, Genevan craftsman Julien Zumkehr— aka Concrete Jane —emerges from the forest with a new sonic horizon. Following the DIY folk minimalism of the 2021 EP Sole Mio, the album « organic » will be released in late 2026 , marking the project’s tenth anniversary. Composed deep within the woods, this record serves as a sensory logbook—a journey woven from ethereal waves and a return to the self. The album explores a reconnection to the living world through tracks with organic textures, redefining what it means to be wealthy: from the immaterial abundance of « plenty » to the nuances of our inner shadows and duality in « bipolar » by way of the briny sweetness of love in « august 3rd » and « iode » and the breathless weight of « burn out ».
